One-day Italian Art History classes in Florence

collageAHThese lessons are very intensive and are meant for those who have little time to spend in Florence but they wish to experience an intensive day of Art History and discover the renaissance buildings of the city as well as its unique museums. One-to-one or very small group classes are held both in English and in Italian over the week and the weekends. For individuals and small groups the programme and the schedule of these courses can be totally tailored to their needs and interests.

It is possible to visit the most important museums of Florence such  the Uffizi, the Bargello National Museum, the National Academy Gallery, the Medici Chapels, the Boboli Gardens, the Palatina gallery, the churches devoted to Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce.

  • The secrets of Florence

An historical walk throughout the centre of Florence, discovering unknown corners and the secrets that just Florentines know. 2 hours of guided tour.

  • The don’t miss in Florence

The Uffizi and Accademia Gallery are a must. Admire Botticelli’s Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s David and some of the most important artworks of the Renaissance period. 5 hours of guided tour.

  • The intensive Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens

A visit to Pitti Palace with all its 7 museums and Boboli Gardens. Spend one day with our Art teacher in the ancient royal palace, visiting its 7 extraordinary museums and relax in the Boboli and Bardini Gardens, the main seat of the Medici grand dukes of Tuscany in Florence, the first and most familiar formal 16th-century Italian gardens. 5 hours of guided tour.

  • The intriguing history of Lorenzo de’ Medici

A 5-hour guided tour through the streets of Florence on the paths of the famous statesman and patron of scholars, artists and poets: Lorenzo de’ Medici, also known as Lorenzo the Magnificent. Visits to the most significant monuments and places relatetd to this major Renaissance figure: the San Marco Museum, the San Lorenzo church and the Laurentian Library, the Medici Riccardi Palace, the Medici Chapels.

  • Michelangelo in Florence

A 6-hour guided tour in Florence on the trail of Michelangelo Buonarroti, visiting the most important museums in town that exhibit some of his most remarkable artworks: the Casa Buonarroti, the Bargello Museum, the Medici Chapels, the Accademia Gallery and Santa Croce church.
